Inside, the A-frame is nothing short of a dream. Every detail has been carefully chosen: velvet textures, artisan wood accents, ambient lighting. You curl up beside the fireplace with a novel or your partner, or both. Time slows down here. That’s the point.
After breakfast—made together in the sleek, fully stocked kitchen—you head into the cedar sauna. It smells like the forest itself. Then it’s the hot tub’s turn, perched on the edge of the mountain, where the clouds swirl and dance just beyond your reach.
Maybe you spend the afternoon exploring—browsing galleries in nearby Bryson City, riding the historic Smoky Mountain Railroad, or hiking a Blue Ridge trail that leads to a hidden waterfall. Or maybe you don’t leave at all.
Back at the cabin, you pour wine, cue up music, and prepare dinner while the sky turns from lavender to indigo. Stars begin to emerge—one, then another, then thousands.
You settle into bed beneath vaulted ceilings and feel the calm settle into your bones. You’ve never slept this well.

We’re happy to welcome well-behaved pets to our home! Please note the following pet guidelines:
Pet Fee: A non-refundable pet fee of $250 applies for up to 2 pets per reservation.
Pet Limit: Maximum of 2 pets allowed.
Exceptions: If you plan to bring more than 2 pets, please reach out to us in advance. We’re happy to review on a case-by-case basis and may be able to accommodate with prior approval.

Exterior security cameras on property
The place has such a cool, interesting design and amazing views over the valley are stunning. Being out in nature made it super quiet and relaxing – exactly what we needed for a weekend getaway. Plenty of space for 4, the sauna was awesome, and it’s pet-friendly which was a big plus for us. There’s also an EV charger, which was convenient. Host was really quick to respond – we had a tiny issue and it was fixed right away.<br/>Just a heads-up: definitely bring a 4WD if it might rain or snow, the road can get iffy. And maybe pack some drinking water (though there’s some in the fridge).<br/>Overall we had a great time, felt very calm and recharged. Beautiful home with breathtaking mountain views and a very peaceful location. On our first day, the host let us know the cleaners couldn’t make it up the icy mountain and gave us the option to cancel, reschedule, or continue. We appreciated the transparency, and they were able to arrange alternate cleaners.<br/>There were some challenges during our stay. The furnace was not working, so we relied on the fireplace and older space heaters. The host did have additional heaters dropped off the next day. The water had a strong iron smell, stained white clothing, and we would not recommend drinking it. A few basic supplies were missing (paper towels, dishwasher pods, trash bags), so we had to make a trip into town.<br/>If visiting in winter, tire chains are highly recommended—the mountain roads were extremely icy, and we slid backward twice even in an AWD Escalade. Overall, the hosts were very responsive and did their best to help given the circumstances. Amaretto

House had a truly stunning view, we hated leaving. Loved all the windows and being able to see the mountain side from the bedroom upstairs. Road had us a little nervous at first but we got up and down just fine. We enjoyed all the amenities and the view from the sauna is so nice. Loved all of the lights outside at night. A lot of appliances we were able to utilize to cook meals there. There is a cute little town about 20 minutes away that we visited. Our only concerns during our stay was our check in was delayed over an hour due to cleaning and we never got the central heat unit to work correctly but were able to use the fireplace to heat the house. Super quick communication and response every time I had a question or concern.
