The host were superior. Always responsive. I Never felt like I was bothering them. The house was beautiful. The lake is so peaceful. The house mattresses were very comfortable as well. There is plenty of room for everyone. I think the only suggestion I would have is just that there wasn’t a very wide variety of pots and pans. So I think if a nice set of pots and pans were added it would be the perfect touch. The home is set up for entertaining & we’re definitely a family that loves to do that and cook. But other than that it’s an amazing rental, do not pass it up! Debbie

There are so many ways in which this property could be one of our favorites. The private lake is a peaceful delight. The house is thoughtfully designed and furnished. The beds are very comfortable. There is so much to do for the whole family. However, it has been neglected and mis-managed.<br/>I have never before left anything less than a 5-star review or asked for any kind of refund. I understand there will always be something missing or broken or some detail the cleaning crew missed. That's normal.<br/>What we experienced was not normal at all. Sheets were dirty, bathrooms and floors had not been cleaned. No bedding for pull-outs. Hot tub and cold plunge were gross. Fireplaces, skeeballl, air hockey, karaoke, mixer, bathroom outlets, exterior door locks, windows, grill - not functioning. Volleyball court overgrown. Putting green a mess. No life jackets or firewood. Host sent workers but that meant people there 3 of our 5 days, and we were unable to access amenities much of the time. Great place to stay! Deck needs some boards replaced, some games were broken, the volleyball court needs all the weeds removed, and the neighbors need to be removed. We were talking at normal volume at about 10:30 pm in the hot tub, and the neighbors across the pond shined a light as bright as the sun on us yelling at us to shut up and be quiet, blinding one of our guests and causing them to walk into the hammock cut into the deck and breaking their finger. Aside from those inconveniences, the place is great and has wonderful potential! Will definitely stay here again in the future, hopefully the neighbors either move or pass away before we come back!
